Chapter 30: Structure Columns

Throughout Human History.......
After Ten Million Years; we are the Age of Information (Une Saga de'Informons).
Punctured deformed and mutated whirls of life are now spiralling out of the molds we cast for them in our collectively lifelong Quest for Knowledge. Millions of TV channels and Global Warming!!! Political parties! Scientific data! Insurance companies, funeral homes, gas stations, grocery stores, video gaming communities, genres of all the genres of media, opinion forums, critic's choice awards, organic vegetables, dietary supplements, plastic surgery, traffic lights, pornography, Ritalin and President George W. Bush!!!!
Computerized graphics catch our eyes and capture our minds. Trees and grass are nothing more than the Global Carpet.
Conclusions are reached by sifting through the endless sea of information, and picking up the most concise rock you find.
The relativity of intelligence is now becoming clear. Nothing is ultimately true or false. The Universe has not truly passed judgement on anything, and we are the Guessers and Symbol-makers.
The realization that Uncertainty precedes any knowledge is not a helpful idea.

With words,
People have eyes and hands and arms and ears.
Trees have branches and roots and stems and leaves.
No one knows why.
Many theories abound
No one knows why anything is anything. No one knows why anything exists, or seems to exist. This is at once profoundly irritating and bewildering. It can also be a source of wonder and joy to those who do not take themselves quite so "seriously."
There are many theories about existence, but none of them can be absolutely proven true or false.
Because of this primal uncertainty, NOTHING can be absolutely proven true or false. The most we can ever know about anything is a guess; where your guess is as good as mine.
Reality is more "straightfoward" than your nightly dreams, but we can no longer assume it is any more "real."
***
Because life is a place where we are meant to cry AND laugh. We are simultaneously dying AND being born, and we are capable of both good AND evil.
We aspire to the "higher" values simply because "aspiration" is the moral equivalent of "acceleration."
Good and Evil balance each other. They are inversely equal to one another. They are mirror images.
In the physical world, we see the interaction of objects according to physical laws.
In the realm of information and language, we see the interaction of logic and laws of syntax.
In the world of mathematics, we see quantities interact with other quantities, based on certain laws of identity (ie. 1=1, 2=2, etc)
***
The world of pure information is also called the "mind."
Our mind has no beginning or end, and so it is called a "stream" of consciousness.
All things are known through information and the "mind."
Our mind is our window to existence.
However, the mind and existence seem to occupy the same space, which is eternally mysterious.
You know everything through your mind, and yet you know your mind through your mind.
***
There is a ghost in the works here. Someone called the "self" is ever-watchful. The self cannot be found, because the self will never be found by itself.
Looking for the self is like cutting a blade in half with its own edge. Without the self, there is no one seeking, and with the self, there is nothing to seek.

There is nothing beyond speculation, i suppose
